Is re-commerce the new commerce?

The term “Re-commerce” comes from “reverse commerce,” which essentially means selling previously owned goods. The resale or second-hand business model isn’t anything new, but it has been growing and adopting new technologies quite quickly over the past few years, especially with the mass layoffs brought on by a pandemic and an unstable economy. Now more than ever before, consumers are feeling the need for staying financially stable in an inflated economy, by doing more bargain shopping, saving coupons and vouchers, and actively trying to save more money.
