Customer Buyback Terms

Any transaction carried out under a partner exchange offer or directly on the Digi2L Platform under the Smart Sell offer shall be subject to these Customer Buyback Terms, in addition to Digi2L’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and any offer-specific terms made available to you.
By availing the exchange, buyback, or Smart Sell offer, you represent, warrant, and agree that:
1. Ownership and Product Condition
- You are the sole, lawful, and absolute owner of the product being offered for exchange or buyback (“Used Product”), and the Used Product was used only for personal and non-commercial purposes.
- The Used Product is genuine, not counterfeit, and is free from any lien, charge, encumbrance, dispute, legal claim, security interest, prior sale, or third-party right.
- The details submitted by you in relation to the Used Product, including brand, model, age, working condition, physical condition, accessories, and other information, are true, accurate, and complete.
- The Used Product, along with applicable accessories, must match the details provided by you at the time of availing the offer and shall be subject to validation during quality check, diagnostics, or pickup verification.
- If the condition, description, or ownership status of the Used Product is found to be false, inaccurate, incomplete, or different from the details submitted by you, Digi2L may revise the value, cancel the transaction, reject the pickup, withhold or adjust the pickup fee, or take any other action permitted under applicable law and Digi2L’s policies.
2. Offer Value and Mode of Benefit
- By accepting the price quote, you agree that the value of the Used Product may be provided to you in the form of a partner voucher, online credit issued by UTC Digital Technologies Private Limited, or any other mode specifically made available under the applicable offer.
- The partner voucher or online credit shall be redeemable only in accordance with the terms of the relevant partner, offer, or Digi2L policy.
- Any indicative value shown before quality check or pickup verification shall not be treated as final. The final value shall be subject to validation of the Used Product and applicable offer conditions.
3. Non-Working Product Criteria
The Used Product may be treated as a non-working product if any of the following conditions are identified during quality check, diagnostics, or pickup verification:
- Television: cracked screen, screen discoloration, spots, lines, patches, display failure, or any other major display defect.
- Air Conditioner: compressor not working, heavily rusted outdoor unit, choked indoor unit fins, or any major cooling or operational defect.
- Washing Machine: control panel not working, drum not working, excessive drum noise, or any major operational defect.
- Refrigerator: low cooling in any compartment, compressor not working, cracked or rusted body, or any major cooling or operational defect.
Digi2L or its authorised partner may classify the Used Product as working, partially working, non-working, damaged, or ineligible based on the applicable quality check parameters.
4. Pickup and Uninstallation
- At the time of pickup, the Used Product must be kept ready for collection and, wherever applicable, must be uninstalled before the pickup associate arrives.
- Digi2L’s pickup partner shall not be responsible for uninstalling the Used Product unless such service is specifically offered and confirmed as part of the transaction.
- Digi2L may charge separate fees in connection with a transaction, including a platform fee, pickup fee, convenience fee, surge fee, holiday pickup fee, rescheduling fee, cancellation fee, or any other applicable service fee.
- The platform fee is charged for access to and use of the Digi2L Platform, including transaction processing, valuation support, technology services, service coordination, and administrative support.
- The pickup fee is charged separately for arranging pickup, logistics coordination, and collection-related services for the Used Product.
- Any applicable fee shall be displayed or communicated to you at the time of order confirmation or before the relevant service is availed.
- Unless expressly stated otherwise, the platform fee shall be non-refundable once the order is confirmed.
- Unless expressly stated otherwise, the pickup fee and any related pickup, surge, holiday pickup, rescheduling, or cancellation fee shall be non-refundable once pickup is scheduled or the relevant service has been initiated. This includes cases where the pickup fails, is cancelled, or cannot be completed due to incorrect information, product mismatch, product unavailability, refusal to hand over the Used Product, false declaration, failed quality check, or any reason attributable to you.
- Digi2L may, at its discretion, refund or waive any fee where the transaction is cancelled solely due to reasons attributable to Digi2L, or where such refund is required under applicable law.
5. Quality Check and Revised Value
- Your eligibility for the offer, additional benefits, or a higher value shall be determined based on the quality check, diagnostics, verification, and applicable offer conditions.
- If the final value determined after quality check is different from the indicative value shown earlier, you may choose not to proceed with the transaction before pickup completion, unless otherwise stated in the applicable offer terms.
- Once the pickup is completed and the transaction is confirmed, the Used Product will not be returned to you, except where required under applicable law or expressly provided in Digi2L’s policies.
- If you return or cancel the new product purchased under an exchange offer, the Used Product already picked up under the offer shall not be returned to you. Any refund, adjustment, reversal, or recovery shall be handled in accordance with the applicable partner terms, offer terms, and Digi2L policies.
6. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless UTC Digital Technologies Private Limited, its affiliates, service providers, buyback partners, logistics partners, and any future purchaser of the Used Product from and against any claim, demand, loss, damage, cost, liability, or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to:
- any false, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by you;
- any dispute relating to ownership, title, possession, or prior use of the Used Product;
- any claim by a third party in relation to the Used Product;
- any breach of these Customer Buyback Terms or applicable offer terms; or
- any unlawful, unauthorised, or fraudulent use of the offer.
7. Personal Information
You consent to the collection, use, processing, storage, transfer, and sharing of your personal information and transaction details by UTC Digital Technologies Private Limited and its authorised partners for the purpose of managing, administering, verifying, fulfilling, and resolving issues relating to the offer.
Such processing shall be carried out in accordance with Digi2L’s Privacy Policy and applicable law.
8. Applicable Policies
These Customer Buyback Terms shall be read together with Digi2L’s Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Grievance Redressal Policy, and any offer-specific terms applicable to the relevant partner exchange offer or Smart Sell transaction.
In case of any inconsistency between these Customer Buyback Terms and specific offer terms, the specific offer terms shall prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.
